1. Scope of Application
These Terms and Conditions apply to all services offered by Mycelium Mediation, including mediation sessions (online and in-person), consultations, workshops, and organisational support, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
By booking a service with us, you agree to these terms.
2. Services Provided
Mycelium Mediation offers mediation and facilitation services, including:
Individual and group mediation
Relationship, community, and business mediation
Organisational retainers
Skills-building workshops and training
Services are provided in English and are available online worldwide or in-person in Berlin.
Mediation is a voluntary, self-determined process. The mediator acts as a neutral facilitator and does not offer legal advice, binding judgments, or impose solutions.
3. Appointments and Cancellations
Booking:
All sessions must be booked in advance via email, phone, or the online booking system.
Cancellations and Rescheduling:
Appointments can be cancelled or rescheduled up to 48 hours in advance at no cost.
For cancellations or rescheduling with less than 48 hours' notice, 50% of the session fee is due.
For cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice or no-shows, 100% of the session fee is due.
Exceptions may be made in the case of emergencies — please get in touch as soon as possible.
4. Fees and Payment
Mycelium Mediation offers a sliding-scale pricing model to support equitable access to services.
Fees are agreed upon in advance and are due within 14 days of the completion of the session.
Invoices will be issued with bank transfer details.
For organisational clients, alternative invoicing arrangements can be made.
5. Confidentiality
All information shared during mediation sessions is treated as strictly confidential, unless:
All parties consent to specific disclosures, or
Disclosure is required by law (e.g., in cases of imminent harm)
The mediator will discuss the confidentiality agreement in the initial session to ensure clarity.
6. Liability
Mediation and facilitation are non-binding processes. Mycelium Mediation is not liable for the outcome of the mediation, nor for any decisions made by the parties during or after the process.
We are not responsible for technical issues affecting online sessions unless caused by our own service setup.
7. Data Protection
All personal data is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more details.
8. Final Provisions
These terms are governed by German law.
If any clause becomes invalid, the rest remain valid.
Place of jurisdiction is Berlin, Germany.
